Sunday had a late start. We needed it to recover from our Saturday night revelry. But we quickly made up for lost time with America’s second favorite pastime: football. From our box seats at Giant’s Stadium, we enthusiastically watched as the Giants shmeared the Washington Redskins 24 – 13.
We knew close to nothing about what these strange Americans call football, but that didn’t stop us from having a grand ole time. Or waving a spare leg or two. (see video above)
After the game we dined at Eighteen, the restaurant, joined by a whole bunch of community Chevre, with whom we chatted with all night long. Sharing their stories with people who care, the boys frequently tell us, helps release the stress from the system and move on from their traumatic experiences.
