Omer, a 35-year-old paratrooper, was injured during an operational mission in Gaza.
Since then, due to a severe back injury, he has been bedridden and unable to move or perform even the most basic daily activities.
For over 100 days, Omer has been waiting for surgery that could improve his condition and relieve the pain, but until then, he cannot work or support his family.
While Omer is bedridden, the entire burden has fallen on his wife, managing daily tasks at home, caring for their 3-year-old son, and carrying the overwhelming financial burden alone.
Now, they are struggling to cover the rent and are in real danger of losing their home.
And even after surgery, Omer will need additional recovery time before he can return to work and resume normal life.
