A few days ago, an Iranian missile struck near Itai’s home, leaving his family shaken and afraid.
But his story began on October 7.
While serving in a combat unit near Gaza, the vehicle Itai was traveling in was hit by 172 bullets. A close friend was killed. Itai was critically wounded and rushed into emergency surgery.
At home, his wife cares for him and their three young daughters. Since the recent missile attack, their daughters are afraid to leave the shelter.
In the middle of everything, his wife shared one simple wish: that her daughters could have new clothes for Pesach.
